Robinson Lodge met in Stated Communication at Robinson Lodge, located at 6919 Applegate Lane, Louisville, KY. The officers were in their stations; check the Tiler's register for names:

Master: Roy W. Wise

Senior Warden: Joe Mattingly, PM

Junior Warden: Russell Grant

Secretary: Ray Spann

Treasurer: Jackie Ramsey

Senior Deacon: Eugene Gibson

Junior Deacon: David Peters, PM

Senior Steward: Ray Pendleton

Junior Steward: David Mahuron, PM

Chaplin: Donald Hodges, PM

Tiler: Arthur Wilson, PM

The Lodge was opened in form at 7:30pm in the Master Mason degree, after prayer by Brother Donald Hodges, PM pledge of Allegiance was lead by Worshipful Master Bill Wise. Worshipful Master Bill Wise welcomed everyone; we had several visitors, check tiler’s register for names. We had a very large group (14) from Highland Park #862. Worshipful Master Bill Wise presented the “Traveling Gavel” to Brother Richard Jackman, Master of Highland Park #862, with the promise that we would get it back.

Worshipful Master Bill Wise called for the reading of the minutes; Brother Ray Spann acting Secretary read the minutes from June 17, 2010 and June 24, 2010. Minutes were read and approved.

Unfinished Business: We had no unfinished business.

New Petitions: We received a petition for the degrees from Andrew Thomas McMahon, recommended by Ray Pendleton and Jackie Ramsey. Motion made and seconded to accept the petition. Vote was taken and approved. An Investigating committee was appointed, Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM, Brother Ray Spann and Brother Tommy Russell. Report will be due August 5, 2010.

Deaths: No Deaths, thank goodness.

New Business: Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM introduced a program to make calls to make announcements by phone. This program is called CallingPost.com. Brother Don Hodges, PM explained how his church is using this program. Brother Hodges said that the program will allow us to handle funerals and special meeting notices. Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM made a motion to set up the program, motion was seconded by Brother David Peters, PM. A vote was taken and passed. Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM let us know that we will be getting a new roof on the building; the insurance is paying to have the new roof put on. Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM said he would like to look into having a Metal Roof on the Building. Brother Joe will get estimates for the metal roof. Brother Joe said that we have three Brothers doing the yard work. Brother Joe requested some additional help. Worshipful Master Bill Wise updated us on the Picnic. Highland Park #862 has agreed to join in with our picnic. Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM suggested that we invite the entire District. The Picnic will be planned by 2 members of each lodge.

Communications and Bills:

Bills: No Checks where written.

Sick Report: Worshipful Master Bill Wise gave a report on Brother Alton Edlin, Jr. PM’s wife. Pam has cancer and is taking chemotherapy. Brother Don Hodges, PM reported on Brother Jim Eldridge’s wife Hattie. She is having swelling in her legs and they are breaking open and getting sores on them. Brother Tommy Russell asked if anyone knew what was going on with Roger Trinkle. Brother Don Hodges said he is not doing well.

Good of the Order: Brother Joseph Mattingly, PM inquired if anyone knew where the water shut off was located. Brother Art Wilson, PM explained where it is located. August 16, 2010 Highland Park will have a Master Mason Degree. Past Master’s night will be July 15, 2010, it will be a covered dish dinner, the lodge will supply chicken.

With nothing else to come before the Lodge, Lodge was closed in peace and harmony with prayer by our Chaplin Brother Don Hodges, PM.
